Only three months to go and a new Rotary Year starts once again. A new breed of Champions are poised to take centerstage to continue the torch their Inspiring predecessors left.
In almost all cases, the burden of service project cost falls under the shoulders of Rotary members. This is nearly as true for small and start-up clubs. Good thing we have Global Grants and District Grants to help clubs continue Rotary work into the community. This leads to reminding you NOT TO MISS OUT on the upcoming Grant Management Seminar this April. For more information… try to look for more details in our district calendar by clicking HERE
But what do you do when you missed out on the Grant Seminar? One of the fund raiser projects the Rotary Club of Manila Binondo Prime did was to hold a concert and it was for a cause. Seems like a lot of work? Not really, says Champ President Boots Leano. “We were blessed we had Pinky Marquez as a club member and she helped us made 60k easy”. The good thing is we can share this formula to all my incoming classmates. Just text me and lets plan it together, she added.
Another way to source out club funds is by helping the district get advertisers into the website. For every advertisements, the club gets 20% back. Solicitation letters will be out soon… most probably this week.
