12 ROUNDS of GOVERNOR'S CHALLENGE
Your club has currently achieved 0/12 Challenges categories
(updated as of November 15, 2019)
(1.) A moderate increase in membership of 10%.
(2.) Charter Strength of 20 members.
(3.) The club must achieve a TRF Annual Fund of USD $100.00 per capita.
(4.) A five (5)% increase of your latest TRF contribution or minimum of $1000, whichever is greater.
What this means – If for example, a Rotary Club previously donated $10,000 during the IP year, a 5% increase represent $500 dollars (total of $10,500), OR a minimum of $1000 dollars which ever is higher. Since $10,500 is higher that $1000 dollars, then the goal for this club is to donate $10,500 to pass this challenge. On the other hand, if a club previously donated $200 dollars during the IP year, and that 5% increase is $10 dollars (total of $210.00) OR a minimum of $1000 dollars which ever is higher…. then the challenge for this clubs is set to donate $1000 dollars to pass this challenge.
(5.) Accomplish the Presidential Citation.
(6.) Participate significantly in the DISCON by pledging a minimum of 1 table.
(7.) Organize at least One Rotary Club.
(8.) Register at least 2 delegates to the Hawaii Convention.
(9.) 100% Subscription to the Philippine Rotary Magazine
(10.) Organizing a project during United Nations Day.
What this means – United Nations Day is in fact set October 24, 2019. This challenge is not limited to activities held during October 24 only, rather it can be done during the Champion Year, provided the organization, or participation, of such activity is geared toward the celebration of the United Nation, specifically highlighting 75th year partnership celebration between UN and Rotary International.
(11.) Recruiting a young professional or doing a project with our youth.
What this means – Young Professional can be viewed as admitting a young individual age 30 or less into your Rotary Club.
(12.) Implement at least 3 of the Rotary International Areas of Focus with Peace and Conflict Resolution as a must in the 3 Areas that your club will complete.
